Right, back again and this is cause whatever that I wanted to post yesterday suddenly just vanished when I was about out to publish it.. Talk about being suay.. Haa.. Anyways, Christmas Day.. (: So Christmas was just over ~~yesterday~~, I mean 2 days ago and honestly I've got to say that it was one the best, if not the best Christmas that I could have ever asked for.. Spent Christmas this year with Judith.. (: Funny how we actually decided to meet on Christmas itself.. Was Sunday if I'm not wrong and we were like, what'd doing on x'mas eve.. Meeting up with friends/ family gathering.. And on Christmas itself?.. Nothing/ nothing.. Meet?, sure.. And yeap, that's how it got along.. LOL..

Met up at Douby Ghaut and I totally felt so damn guilty for what I did, or rather what I didn't do.. She got me chocs you see.. Like how swt of her to get a Chrsitmas pressie for me.. Probably cause I was saying that she was tempting me too much over msn.. LOL.. And that bloody Robby didn't get nothing!.. -.- OMG man!.. ROBBY!.. Jud, I so totally owe you one ok!.. (: Promise, the next time we meet!.. We took a stroll down to Orchard after that.. Oh, they closed the streets this Christmas season and you could like walk on them.. It's way cool, I mean like when can you walk in the middle of the streets and come on, it's Orchard road!.. Yeap.. Coffee beaned for awhile.. Chit chatted, caught up and stuff.. *And hey, I still think that Starbucks is way better but I'm kinda tempted to try Coffee Bean after your persuasion.. ;) Haha.. Trained down to Suntec next..

Met up with my friend "Harry" at the tour area.. We got up the bus and for the first time in our lives I think, we seriously felt like tourists in our own lil country!.. The bus that we took was one of those topless open air kinda tour buses.. Way cool!.. I mean like seriously, if any of you have the time.. Have a go at it!.. It's absolutely stunning, the views that you get!.. The bus took us into Sentosa, walked around a lil before watching the Songs of the Sea.. It's a replacement for the musical fountain except, it was a whole lot better!.. Fountains, lasers, fire balls and not forgetting.. FIREWORKS!.. We were stunned when they actually shot the fireworks!.. And not surprisingly, full house and it was a public holiday too.. It was jammed packed!.. So yea anyhow, show was great!.. If u guys haven't seen it yet, go!.. LOL.. (:

Walked around Siloso Beach first and headed back to vivo after that.. Waves in the night.. Lovely.. (: Dinner and back home.. Well, pics are below and I'll let them do the talking.. (:

The Christmas tree was like the last thing I took before my cam died.. But the most unforgiving and irritating thing that happened.. Turns out that when I got home to charge that batteries, the cam was using AA batteries.. O.o Like if I knew it sooner, I could've just bought it!.. Arghh.. How dumb can a person get.. -.-

OMG!.. Injection lesson today and boy was that their way of handing us a Christmas present.. Theory was up first followed by the practical.. And as fate would have it, it was more or less the repetition of what happened during IV lesson..

Right, when it got to my turn.. I asked my partner to inject me first.. I have no idea why but I would always wanna go first for this kinda things.. O.o Yeap, go figure.. LOL.. So anyways, I was given 4ml or injection water.. Bet your like thinking, it's just 4ml.. No biggie right?.. Think again.. In terms of that amount of liquid going into your body.. IT'S ALOT!!!..

I could feel the needle going into body, poked the skin, passing through it and on into the muscle.. Guess since it's almost every week that we get poked, having a needle in the body feels.. Well, normal already.. The really, and I mean really painful part came when the water was injected in.. At first it didn't really hurt.. Controlled the pain, slowly.. And it built up to a point where it seriously got intense.. How'd I react your asking?.. Well, picture this.. If you watched the movie Home Alone 3, the part where the rat crawled into the baddies pants and the other baddie took a baseball bat to whack his wankie?.. Yeap, as embarrassing as it may sound, that was the sound that I made.. -.-

And pretty soon, I was attracting a crowd.. Since all my course mates were sitting down, their heads popped up like mushrooms from the ground.. LOL.. They wanted to see what all the commotion was all about.. And I think I kinda made a few of them scared from my reactions cause honestly, me and my buddy were one of the first few to do it.. =X And a few of them laughed too.. They said my reaction was priceless and it was a waste not to record any of it down.. One of them even said it looked like the Predator from the way my mouth was moving.. Haha..

So after all that, sat down and before u know it.. Face and lips turned pale.. AGAIN.. Sigh.. I must seriously stop doing this.. Yeap, so another day of pain, all in the life of a medic.. But honestly, it was seriously fun and if I had to do it all over again.. No hesitations!.. (:

Oh boy, guess what I woke up to this morning.. Try having a mozzie bite on your eyelid for a wake up call.. Ouchies!.. And it was so freaking uncomfortable.. Arhh..

So Christmas is just 2 days away!.. LOL.. Can't hardly wait anymore.. And Royce's birthday is tmr, followed by Liqin's and my lil bro's birthday.. And hello 2008 after that.. Seems so fast that '07 has just gone by.. Oh, and heard from Ling that twin is coming back tmr.. Apparently, she's in Langkawi now with her family.. And she didn't tell me.. ): LOL.. So yea, and NS is still packed with tests and more tests.. 11 Jan come on!.. (:

Hey peeps.. Alright, I know it's been almost 2 weeks since I've last updated this and a long while since I've logged onto faceboo, not to mention msn.. *email messages unread = 486.. O.o Yea, lots to catch up on.. I've got tons of ppl telling to pls update my blog so here goes.. And I'm real sry twin.. >.< Hehe..

Right, lemme see.. Looking at my timetable now.. Well, last week's most memorable lesson was.. INFUSION!.. Also know as IV management.. If u still have no idea what I'm talking about, it simply means hooking up a needle to your vein and yea.. Ouch!.. And we had to take turns.. Partner and I.. Honestly speaking, when they told us this on the first week.. I was totally dreading this lesson.. But when that day came, I was like.. It's just a needle, seconds, maybe minutes of pain but.. When am I gonna experience this again.. *Not so soon I hope.. But anyways yea, lessons are lessons right?.. Alright, I know what you're thinking.. Robby's a total sadist right?.. Well, yea I am!.. =X Haha.. From a guy that says the SAW movies are cute, what do u expect!.. ;)

So anyways, when it was my turn to be.. I'll use the word "POKED".. Oh gosh it hurt!.. I'm not gonna act all macho and say it didn't but it really did hurt.. I had to bite down on my arm to ease that pain.. And my partner ahd to do it on me TWICE!.. The first time, he missed the vein.. It wasn't his fault though.. It's called running vein where when the needle goes in, the skin feels the pain and since your entire body is a living thing.. The vein knows that there's something coming and runs away.. Cool right!.. LOL.. You learn tons of things in medic course.. So yea, our encik said that since he missed the vein, the needle poked the flesh and since my partner was nervous, his hand was shaking and the needle nearly went out through the other of the skin.. >.< Sorry, if it's too detailed and stuff.. Some of you guys might be squirming by now..

So, the second try went pretty much alright.. Yeap, needle got into the vein and everything went smoothly.. (: But when it was my turn, I went to get the stuff that was needed.. Halfway through, I felt light headed.. Almost wanting to faint.. Instructors told me to lay down and they had to gimme O2.. They said my face was totally pale and white, including my lips.. How embarrassing!.. Hehe.. No one else except me.. Sigh.. LOL.. But I have to say, 100% O2 was absolutely WOO!.. You guys gotta try it sometime!.. (: So yea, after recovering and stuff.. It was my turn to poke my friend.. And yeap, same thing happened to me.. Running vein.. And the second time I had to do it, I really pity my friend for making him do this.. He had to twist his arm around since that was where the other good vein was.. But from then on, everything worked out fine.. Yeap, till today just a blue black at my arm to remind me of that lesson.. Other than that, it was pretty much FUN!.. As weird as that may sound.. And if you asked me to do it all over again, I seriously wouldn't mind.. (:

So that was last week, this week on the other hand.. Woah.. MATERNITY!.. That's right, we learnt how to assist the paramedics when a mum is giving birth.. Seriously, I think that's seriously one of the coolest things to do man!.. Alright, now I feel like I'm becoming one of the doctors from grey's anatomy.. LOL.. Anyways, they did show us an actual video of a mother giving birth.. Everyone in the room was like.. Eww!.. I think I was the only one that went Ooo.. Honestly when I saw that video, I really wanted to be there to help deliver the baby.. I don't really know how to describe that feeling.. Hope u guys aren't throwing anymore "You are sick" darts onto my face right now.. But yea, way cool!.. Sry guys but I don't think I'm gonna post pictures of what we did in camp.. It might get me in trouble so yea, sorry..

Anyways, NS life aside.. I got my iPod Touch!.. Last week to be exact.. Haha.. I'm so totally loving it.. Wi-Fi and all.. And cover flow rules!.. Went out with Royce yesterday and his hands were all over it.. And I nearly drove him to the point of getting one.. Just that he wanted to see if his sis would get him one for Christmas first.. Yup yup.. And we agreed on one thing, he provides good places to makan and I provide nice songs for him to listen too.. LOL.. He came over last night at 11 plus just to get songs from my playlist.. Respect him for doing that man.. And I hope that your dad isn't too mad with u dude.. (:

Right, dinner yest was awesome!.. And it was extra special too since it was my grandma's birthday!.. *hugs and loves granny!.. (: It's seriously been awhile since I got time for myself and family.. Yea trust me, NS is a hell of a lot more busy than I thought it would be..

Dinner was at one of the coffee shops at simpang.. Food was coming and coming and coming!.. Even though there was like god knows how many dishes going in and out, *I lost count.. It didn't really fill me up despite the fact that we had fried rice, lemon chicken, deep fried prawns, tom yam soup and black pepper crabs! etc. ect. I skipped the crabs though but that wasn't much help too.. I just murdered my throat again right after recovering from an 8 week cough and sore throat.. Yea, bet ur thinking.. Use ur brain Robby, think before u eat.. LOL.. But yea, I controlled ok.. And overall, not too bad.. Yup yup.. Lil cousin Lydia was there too.. She's seriously cute lah.. Haha..

We headed off to Changi beach next.. One word.. COLD!.. Yea, it was freezing!.. Like what u would call natural air-con.. Gosh.. And not to mention when I was near the railings, the waves went well over the rails and u guessed it.. I got soaked.. -.- Add that to cold, blowing and thundering wind.. Well, u get the point.. Oh and not too long after that.. It rained!.. LOL..

So yea, almost all of us got drenched after that.. Ur probably thinking by this time - Where's the cake?.. Well, headed home and it was cake time!.. (: Well, must say that family is still very much important to me.. No matter what u call it.. Mamas boy or what-not.. I don't really care.. LOL.. So yea, that's basically it.. (:

Well, well.. Another week gone just like that.. 5 more weeks till medic course ends.. So erm, more pumping this week.. Like whatever we do ain't good enough.. I'm not gonna complain no more, it's more like getting used to it already.. Or rather, numb to it.. And complains are negative.. So, no more complaining!.. ;)

Right, enough bout that.. This week so far, filled with tests.. Brain's been really working this week.. LOL.. Everything tested and hopefully passed so we can get our 100 bucks extra allowance.. Skill allowance they call it.. Yeap.. CPR and stuff.. The thing is, stay cool and whatever not.. Cause if u were to freak, and I mean really freak.. U'll just go blank.. And to think it's not the real thing yet!.. Seriously wondering how man next time when the real thing comes.. So yea.. Stay cool Robby, stay cool..

Twin's been bugging me to blog so here it is.. Haha.. Everything I've been telling her so far has been like freaking her out.. So I guess from now on, I'll just blog it.. "DISCLAIMER - READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!".. =P Well today, another session of gore.. As usual.. This time, hmmm.. Stab wounds to the neck, and mind u they showed us real pictures with the knife jutting out from the neck.. And for the icing on the cake, a guy holding a firecracker and it EXPLODED in front of his face.. It looked more like he ate the damn, oops I mean.. The.. The.. Well, it looked like he placed the firecracker in his mouth!.. And BOOM!.. Face was totally gone!.. Only the inerts visible!.. Ok ppl, yes.. Robby is still here.. Not to worry.. (:

All this exposure to this stuff.. Kinda well, used to it.. I mean, at least it prepares us for the REAL thing out there.. Yup yup.. Oh, had Hep B jabs today too.. Flu Vaccine last week, Hep B this week, infusion next week - the one they put the needle in your vein, the week after that - injection on friends.. Right your thinking, "friends".. And after that week, 2nd Hep B jabs.. Needles in and out every week.. I'm really getting used to it now.. LOL..

So yea, that's this week all wrapped up.. Had a dream the other night, bout Ling and twin.. Sigh.. Must be missing them already.. TWIN!.. OUTING SOON PLS!.. HAHAHA.. Yeap, well.. Movie or dinner with Royce and Liqin tmr.. And I'm not sure if I can make it now.. Hope for the best.. Right ppl, that's it from me.. TTFN!.. (:

Just so lazy to blog nowadays.. Haa.. But I'm feeling guilty so yea, I'll start a post now.. So it's official, I got into the medic vocation.. Apparently the one that I wanted but.. I'm kinda having second thoughts now..

Gotta wake up everyday at 4.45am, catch the 6am train and reach CDA by 0729hrs.. And I usually reach home at say 7, 8 pm.. Once or twice a week rather, lessons till 9pm plus.. O.o Yea, late I know.. By the time I get back.. Don't even remind me.. So yea, that's my life for the next 7 weeks.. Wait, 6 rather.. Now that one has already gone by..

Medic course, for those of u that think it's a slack vocation.. Think again!.. We still get pumped!.. Other than that, first week wasn't too bad.. Lotsa interesting stuff.. Yup yup.. Gory, gruesome and scary.. Well, kinda.. We learnt like how to treat a patients tummy that has intestines coming out and stuff.. Yea, all that in the first week.. And twin is really hating me for telling her that and all.. LOL.. But Debs is seriously loving it!.. O.o Go figure!..

So yea, that's just the first week.. Oh, and I had a flu vaccine just yest.. Next week, Hep B and 3 weeks after that, 2nd Hep B.. Really starting to dislike or rather, get used to needles going and out of my body..

Hmm.. Cough seems ok compared to yest.. Just went for an X-ray this morning to check out my lungs.. Since the doc said my 7-8 weeks on-and-off cough is something serious.. She said I might have asthma!.. Errr.. Nono!.. ): Results on tuesday so I'm seriously praying hard that every thing's gonna be alright.. Nearly cried when I heard she said that I had asthma.. But yea, manda, ling and jas cheered me up.. Thanks u guys.. (:
