So, met up with Debs and Nic with my sis yesterday.. Ages since I last saw them.. And well, glad to see that they're still the same old peeps.. (: Just that my throat absolutely killed me.. Wasn't able to talk properly too.. Boo hoo.. ):

Trained down to orchard next where I met Liqin and Royce.. And yeap, haven't seen they in awhile too.. Liqin had a dance thingy at yishun.. But dear old Royce was tired so we didn't go.. Hehe.. Heard that Fiona won 2nd place so yea.. (:

Alright, so Royce and I headed down to Marina BK for dinner.. And I was totally blind I tell u.. I was like.. "Where is BK?".. And it was screaming right in front of me and I couldn't see it!.. *blames the cough..

Oh well, what happened next was like totally unexpected..

Yea u heard me right!.. I ordered a western whopper meal and topped up a patty.. So which means X2.. But somehow, another one found it's way in!.. LOL.. Mind u I already had large onion rings, a large lemon barley, taro pie and a hershey's sundae pie waiting.. What more a TRIPLE WHOPPER!.. The size of that thing.. UNBELIEVABLE!.. It was immense.. At the start, was seriously just staring at it.. How'd that huge thing gonna fit into this lil guy's tummy.. And I've never thrown away a burger before so I wasn't gonna let it be the first.. Alright alright, I'll let the pictures do the talking now..

Anyway, gotta get up early tmr.. 6am at tampines mrt.. Joy of living in the east and having ur training all the way to the west.. -.- So yea, I'll know for sure if I got into the medic course.. Wish me luck.. (: Ritey, see ya ppl..

POP!!!
That's right!.. Passed out already!.. WOOT!.. NO longer a recruit no more!.. (:

Had my passing out parade yesterday, 22nd November.. After a 10 click route march and going through the SOC one last time.. Alright, ppl from tekong might say that's peanuts to what they're going through but for me.. It doesn't really matter.. Recruit life is over and on to the next phase for me.. (:

Like my twin said, yea.. I haven't blogged since I last booked out so here's to making up for it.. Yes yes, u got me feeling guilty twin.. Haha.. Tons of stuff and absolutely mean TONS OF STUFF happened over the last 2 weeks before we passed out..

There was the games competition where sadly, charlie company got trashed 6-0.. -.- And I was one of the players inside the team.. Arghh, should have stuck to rock climbing.. LOL.. Oh and foot drill competition too.. Was really like super cool getting to really see what it really was like being in the foot drill team.. Uniforms all starch and feeling like cardboard.. Seriously, cardboard!.. No kidding!.. And when we donned the uniform, we couldn't even bend our knees!.. So yea, that's foot drill for u!.. (:

And I was well, not sure if I should use the word happy or disappointed, to be chosen for one of the peeps to represent Charlie company in the best physique competition.. Was like delighted at first but after I knew that we had to be in our swimming trunks in front of the whole battalion!.. O.o That's right.. And it only got worst when I found out or rather saw the other competitors!.. They were seriously.. Well, BIG!.. And I was like a lil mouse in the there.. Haha.. But yea, overall, a fun experience!.. Nervous but fun!.. Definitely.. (:

And on Tuesday, we had to go through CA!.. That's Chemical Agent for u guys!.. We had to don those gas mask kinda suits.. Couldn't really breath properly and I honestly though that I was gonna die.. Seriously.. Lack of O2 to the brain, now I know what it feels like.. And when we brought inside the gas chamber, we were to sit on the benches.. And they set off the TEAR GAS.. Mind u, it's only 10% of what the riot police uses but the experience.. Well, once in a life time!.. When the pellets were lit, white smoke filled the room.. they told us to remove our hoods.. Then, u could feel it.. Cold needles poking ur skin, u wanna scratch but we're strictly told not to or it'll become worst..

We were told to stand in front of the mike, take out our masks and to say our full name and IC number.. Sounds frightening doesn't it?.. But it's part of training so yea.. I only made it to Tay Muhammad Rob and I was gone!.. The smoke's something like sparkles kinda smoke.. U can feel it making its way through ur nose, mouth and into ur throat and lungs.. I didn't even open my eyes and walked into a wall on the way out!.. Yea, after that.. Headed to the drain and spat everything out.. Tears came out uncontrollably and so did the saliva.. HORRIBLE I tell u!.. I really appreciated air after that experience.. Yeap..

Alright so overall here's what went down, prize wise for our company..

Basketball - 2nd place! (Yea, all of us were shocked!)
Rock climbing - 2nd and 3rd place!
Sepak Takrow - 1st place!
Best physique - 3rd place! (Go Eugene!)

Foot Drill - 1st place! (CHAMPIONS!!!)

So yea, that wraps it up for my recruit life.. Oh oh, and I received the Best in CD Skills for my company!.. (: Uberly HAPPY with that!.. And Nadzri, one guy from my company received the Best Physical Training and Best Recruit for our company and also the Best in Battalion!.. Go Charlie company!.. Recruit life, what an experience.. Memories I'll keep forever and new friends that I've met!.. Thanks to everyone that made this such a memorable experience!.. (:

P.S. Heard from an insider that I've been posted to a medic vocation.. So that means 8am to 6pm everyday for me!.. Gotta go back on Monday to sign the vocation list and from there I'll know for sure.. So yeap, praying for the best now.. (:

Alright, alright.. I'm sorry for this being almost a week late but I wanted to save this post just for u.. And it's not parking alright.. So vulgar!.. LOL.. Anyways, yea.. HAPPY 19th to u Ling!.. And we've known each other since sec school!.. So long already and look at how time flies!.. Miss those bus stop gang days and although I sorta MIA-ed for a while, glad to see every thing's alright now..

Wee!.. And Happy Deepavali!.. LOL.. Alright, booked out yesterday and I'm booking in tonight again.. And guess what?.. Booking out tmr, again.. Like -.- Can't they just make us stay in yesterday and book out today for a long weekend?.. Sigh.. Yea, enough bout that..

So yea, this week has been pretty interesting actually.. We had to go over to MTV, that's Mandai Training Village for u guys.. ;) They were gonna teach us about tunneling.. So all of us ended up digging through the ground using nothing but shovels, spades and chisels.. It was seriously tiring but a lotta fun too!.. (: Especially when the made us crawl through the tunnels we dug.. And the instructors just had to pour water through making it even more muddy!.. But yea, like I said.. It was fun and really, u could feel that there was teamwork.. Yup yup.. (:

Other than that, food wise.. They served briyani this week.. It was like heaven!.. Plus the chicken and whatnot together with it.. OMG!.. YUMMY!.. I mean we have never gotten such kinda food ever since well, enlistment day.. So I think u get what I mean.. (:

Oh Tuesday sucked a lot.. Cause we were suppose to go for a soccer match and some of us were not allowed too.. Drill competition practice.. Like -.- man.. So yea, that was like the super disappointing thing this week.. Just wanted to chill with my bunk mates during the match but guess that's the price u pay for it.. Oh well..

Hello!.. (: Back to blogging again.. Was a lil lazy last week so I totally skipped blogging.. But I'm back now.. Yup yup..

Right, so how have things been u ask.. Well, here's the break down.. Had a First Aid Test this week.. And results.. *Drum roll please.. Tied for 2nd place in my platoon.. 87/100.. (: 1st guy got 91.. -.- But good for him.. Haha.. Also did my IPPT this this week.. Well, on Friday rather.. Pull ups - 12 | Sit ups - 42 | Standing Broad Jump - 236cm | Shuttle Run - 9.8s | 2.4km Run - 10:24.. Overall, silver.. =/ My running really pull me down.. Needed a timing below 9:44 for a gold.. There's another session next week.. I'll give it a try to see if I can do it.. ;) Oh, and I fell on my hip bone during the standing broad jump.. *ouchies.. For the other stations, just did enough to get 5 points.. (:

And I went for a medic interview this week too.. Not very well done I have to say.. Just crossing my fingers now and hope that all goes well.. Yup yup.. So yea, that's bout it from camp.. More stuff than that but just too much to blog.. =X Hehe.. Facebook is seriously flooding my inbox.. Can u say 50 emails per week!.. O.o I'm boggled too!.. LOL..

Anyways, my timetable for next week looks like this.. Tuesday - Soccer match at Bishan stadium | Wednesday - Bookout | Thursday - Bookin | Friday - Bookout.. It's that slack I know.. LOL.. Guys in tekong must be so hating SCDF right now.. =P

Yup yup, that's about it.. Oh oh, I got selected for Footdrill Competition too!.. It's tough but I kinda like it.. Plus, benefits include no morning 5BX!.. How can anyone pass up on that!.. (:
