Hello to all!.. (: First off, I just wanna say a big thank you to all u guys for the birthday wishes.. Whether it was on my tag board or msges sent via sms.. Thank you guys sooo much!.. Really appreciate it!.. Thank you guys for remembering!.. And thank you for the pressies too!.. Speaking of presents, guess what I got for my present in camp.. GUARD DUTY!.. -.- I didn't tell no one bout my bdae, ok maybe a hand full but yea.. Talk about being lucky huh..

Stuff in NS is pretty much ok.. Just a lil tired from this weeks training.. Body is sore too.. Especially the legs!.. I HATE wearing boots!.. And 2.4km timing sucks.. 11:35.. But how am I to train?.. Just so tired when I get back home.. Hope that training given to us will be enough..

Oh before I forget, I'm in the 105th intake.. Kinda special to me i guess.. Rearrange those numbers and u get 10 and 15.. 10 being october and 15 being the day.. My birthday!.. (: Ok, that was random but yea.. Hee..

And suddenly, it all feels quiet once again

Alright, I have no idea why but my body feels like crap now.. Itching everywhere, sores and other whatnot's.. Just tired I guess.. Cause even though I've booked out less than a week, haven't been getting enuff sleep.. Eye bags and dark spots!.. Arghh..

Anyways, went out with Royce yest.. He wanted to go get some singlets and stuff.. And since TM and CS had most of their shops under renovation, BnG and Isetan, Boo Hoo!.. No place to go shop.. ): But it was off to my house though.. Hari Raya visiting and all.. And my dad's friend was there together with his whole family and one of their sons was in CD too!.. (: Medic and just got some info on how to get in there and how his experience was so far.. But I gotta say, all of us clicked!.. (:

Like it was so easy to talk to each and everyone!.. Hope u liked the food dude!.. (: Planned to meet later on at TM.. Wanted to head down to Suntec.. So yea, met up with him.. We were walking round Marina and all of a sudden!.. BOO YA!.. LIQIN CAME OUT FROM NOWHERE!.. That's 1 - 2 dude!.. =P LOL.. Ok, yea.. SURPRISE ROBBY!.. Haha.. I get what it feels like now.. But it was nice seeing her though.. Yea, nice.. (:

So Royce got his singlet and got some drinks at starbucks and off we went to the esplanade.. They had some thing going on at the stage and it was belly dancing.. LOL.. The tune was just sooo good to dance to!.. Yea, so we chilled by the bay.. Mostly talking bout NS and stuff.. Yup yup.. (:

So I guess this is how it's gonna be from now on.. Meetings only on weekends.. ): Kinda sad but what can I do huh.. Well, 6 more weeks till POP and hopefully a medic post and I'll be home everyday.. (:

Why's everyone turning sad lately.. Manda, Ling and now me.. RAH3.. Yea well, I don't think I should really talk bout Ling's and Manda's, cause I'm not sure if I'm allowed to but as for me.. Ok, I don't mean to say this out loud but.. Birthday in camp.. ): Yeap, few hours time and I'm booking in and Bdae's tmr.. BIG BIG BOO HOO!.. ): But I sure won't be opening my mouth.. Some things are better off not saying.. ;)

HELLO NS!
Typing this post now and I am totally shacked.. Like totally pooped.. Tired, tired, tired.. That's all I gotta say.. Lower back is hurting like hell.. Just cause I'm still fasting and all.. Kinda makes it a lil worst I guess but it's gonna be over soon.. The fasting that is..

So anyways, Ns life.. Tiring.. Ok wait, I've said that before but yea.. No joke.. And I think some of u are wondering how come I'm out sooo fast right?. Lemme explain..

That's where I'm enlisted, my company name and which platoon I am in.. Titans!.. They say it's the fittest squad there.. (: Ok, enuff about that.. Just gonna post what happened (if I can recall everything) over the past week..

So 9 Oct.. The day of enlistment finally arrived.. Daddy and mummy drove me there.. And I was so like nervous when we got there.. Hands were shaking I tell u!.. Anyhow, few moments later and it was goodbye.. So we were placed into our platoons, told where we were gonna sleep (and since platoon 7 is the fittest platoon, they HAD to put it on the 4th floor -.- That's up and down 10 plus time per day man.. I see strong leg muscles coming soon!) and some of the basic stuff.. Beds are like 7 inches thick!.. But comfort level is just there.. Yeap..

Haircut was a seriously HAIRY affair!.. Those dudes doing the shaving are rough man.. Totally!.. And they didn't care bout anything else, except the money.. Yeap, we gotta pay for the cuts.. Like $3 for a rough cut.. =P In the end, everyone looked.. Well.. The same.. And it was kinda difficult to tell each other apart.. For a while only though.. (:

Did learn some drills.. Have to say that I never knew NPCC in sec school would come in this handy.. But drills weren't as though as NP.. Maybe cause this is just the first week "Orientation Week".. Yeap.. Oh and we got a tour of the whole base and also the Devil's Bar.. Hotel California.. DETENTION BARRACKS.. And it was no shit.. Quite scary actually.. They locked us up in one of the padded cells and the dark room.. Basically both were dark and not to mention.. HOT and STUFFY!.. People that wanna lose weight, my advice, just stay in that room for 10 mins.. That'll do.. But I don't wanna ever go in there.. For PT, they gotta carry this 25kg bag and do push ups and run around and stuff.. O.o I got cut marks while trying to put the bag on!..

Well, I'm kinda undecided on which vocation but I think for me, it'll always be what I thought off in the beginning.. It happens to be that way every time I needa think hard.. So like Ling says, Murphy's Law.. And I think it applies to me too.. See, here's the thing.. We were given 3 choices to choose from.. As in where u wanna go, vocation and stuff.. But since we're diploma holders.. 2 of the choices were preselected for us.. Like -.- can!.. So ERS (Emergency Response Specialist) and fire fighter were a must.. Last choice, I was undecided.. PTI (Physical Training Instructor) or medic.. I chose medic anyways.. So yea.. And we had a bunk meeting from the sir and he told us.. No PTI intakes for this batch.. So I guess the next bes thing is ERS.. Since it's the best of SCDF.. It's a 6 month Sergeant course, meaning.. We'll pass out as a Sergeant!.. And pay is like $1050!.. O.o

But I heard them saying those with glasses.. 500 degrees and above can't.. Mine was way above that.. And so the list came yesterday and I was in it!.. Surprised cause I told everyone that I'll never make it.. But look!.. O.o But yea, I dropped out in the end.. The whole glasses thingy.. At some point in the training, u'll needa wear masks and not wear glasses.. And using contacts isn't a good idea.. Oh, u can use contacts btw.. Yea, I was like "WHAT?" too!.. Fire is hot and if it melts ur contacts.. Bye bye sight!.. I mean, I'd rather get posted to another vocation than go blind.. Not to mention that it's only 2 yrs so yea..

Alright, on to th good stuff.. Don't read this and go all envious of me alright.. I was kinda surprised too when I heard about the "benefits"..

1. Camera phones are allowed
2. Washing machines and dryers are provided
3. We get to go home at 5pm every friday regardless of the day u enlisted
4. 7 weeks and it's POP

So yea, don't like me.. Bite me!.. *munch.. Oww.. Ok I'll stop.. But yea.. It's quite nice here.. (:

And I'll only be able to update on weekends, that's if there's no guard duty so yea.. The blog's not totally dead!..;)

So meanwhile gonna rest and Njoy my precious time.. Booking in on Sunday.. Toodles peeps!.. (:

Humbling experience.. That's what I would describe it as.. NS tmr already.. Less than 11hrs to go.. And yea, I'll say it again.. Oh how time flies!.. This last week leading up to it.. Well, I would say has been the best days of my life!.. (:

Meet up with friends, birthday gifts and all, and finally time with my family.. It all adds up I guess.. Plus with the weather being this "NICE" and James Blunt's new album, courtesy of Royce, adding to the soundtrack of these events.. Yeap..

And today, Jasmine came over.. One of my sis friends.. (: So cool to see her again.. Last time was when I passed donuts to her.. Yup yup.. My sis was totally bullying her.. Even my parents were asking why when she went back.. LOL.. But yea, nice to see u again girl!.. All laughs and all.. Even though the weather was kinda GLOOMY.. BOO weather BOO.. Wait, on second thought.. YAYS for the weather being this way!.. RAIN = NO TRAINING!.. =D

So I helped with spring cleaning today.. Feel kinda bad that my dad has to do everything when I go in since I'm normally helping him out when the festive season is coming.. Yup yup.. He went through some of the photo albums and took out some to let us see.. Oh the memories.. When me, my sis and bro were so young!.. (: And now all grown up and stuff.. Brings back so so so many memories!.. U know the feeling inside, it's like u just wanna go back there.. Yeap..

Went off to meet Liqin later on.. She'd just finished her O level music, piano.. (: The girl's talented I tell u.. ;) So yea, so nice of her to take the time off.. She still had another round tmr.. Yeap.. Padlocks are tough things to find at reasonable prices!.. In the end, that was the only thing I had to get on my list.. The only thing remaining.. Who'd thought it would be padlocks?.. Haha.. She brought me to like almost every hardware shop around Bedok that she knew off.. And we had some mishaps with the ATM thingy.. Shall not say.. Shall not reveal how not well-off I am.. Hehe.. But yea, in the end.. Everything evened out and all was well.. (:

Bussed back to the market near her place.. She was all prepared with the digicam and stuff!.. Haha.. Yeap, TIME TO GO BALD!.. Ok, not bald but I was gonna shave before I went in.. Heard from ppl and stuff that they shaved to the roots once u went in.. No pain, a lotta gain!.. Trust me!.. =D So yea, she took the before and after thingy.. And also the intermediate.. Like even the barber asked her to take half way while he was cutting!.. So ON man!.. Was so cooling after that!.. Like blow wind, please blow!.. LOL..

But yea, wanna say thanks to Liqin for today.. Though it was short and brief, time was absolutely well spent.. (: And thanks to Manda a.k.a Twin.. For u keeping me company with ur msges till well.. Today!.. Hee.. And thanks to Huiling, Royce, Deborah, Bernita, Judith, Jasmine and everyone else.. For making it such an enjoyable time before going in.. Really appreciate it u guys.. (:

Ok, more and more outings now as the days of NS draws nearer!.. It kinda hit me hard like on Friday, after the dinner with Manda and Ling.. I was thinking to myself.. This is really happening isn't it.. Yea I mean, kinda late to think of that now but suddenly it seems so erm.. SCARY?.. How real it is all gonna be.. Yeap.. But anyhow, I'm gonna go into NS all positive.. No point bringing urslf down for no reason at all right?.. (:

Met Manda and Ling at Macs at TM.. Exchanged pressies with Manda and Ling gave us each our own.. Cuz we're both Libras!.. LIBRAS RULE!.. ;) Headed towards Soeul Garden for dinner.. Yeap.. Buffet while fasting = not very good idea.. U'll get fuller, faster!.. Trust me.. Not good!.. LOL.. But yea, we did like so many crappy things during dinner.. Talked and eat and talked and played.. It's nice spending time with them.. I knew Ling since sec sch and Manda and I really seemed to click, twin!.. Played truth and truth also.. I guess some things in that game are better left unspoken.. =X

Overall, I really NjoyD myself.. (: It's just amazing that no matter what, whenever the 3 of us meet.. We just have so much fun and keep laughing.. And considering the fact that we sorta just got together as a group.. It really says a lot.. Gonna miss u guys once I go in.. Weekends only then.. It'll be hard but if we do meet up, it'll be worth it.. (: And last but not least, thank u guys so much for the pressies.. The cards were really something too.. Thanks you guys.. (:

Woke up at 11.45am today!.. OMG!.. Ok, I know that's not very late for most/all of u but.. I normally get up at like 9 or 10 the most.. So, for somewhere near 12?!.. Yea, u get the pic.. Went to get my NS stuff today.. Met Royce at TM and went shopping.. Man, he looked really dressed up!.. Like he could walk into Raffles Hotel and looked like he was staying there!.. SUPER DRESSED UP!..

And BOO YA Royce!.. Yes yes, Liqin and I did it again!.. Surprise surprise!.. LOL.. Again, should have taken a photo of his face!.. PRICELESS!.. Trained down to City Hall.. Royce left to meet his friends in town.. So it was just me and Liqin left.. Yup yup.. Accompanied her to Suntec cuz she said that her friends were there waiting for her.. But I couldn't resist from showing her the new iPods!.. I think I got her hooked too!.. iTouched the iPod Touch!.. Haha.. It was uber cool man!.. iPod, Wi-Fi, youtube and everything else.. MUST GET!.. Ok, I really hope that Liqin wasn't late cuz of me.. Took quite long there.. =X

But yea, in the end.. Zipped down to the esplanade library where her friends were.. Really got the time to know what's going through her right now.. O's and all.. NjoyD ur company.. Hey hey.. (: Alright, I'm not sure if I should be blogging this but since this is my space.. Please read the disclaimer first.. =D

Went out with Jud yesterday.. Met her at Bugis and off we were to find Manda's pressie.. ;) I'm not gonna say nuts bout the pressie here cuz I ain't gonna give away any hints.. Just have wait till tonight Manda.. And I hope u like it.. (:

Walked on over to Suntec and Marina next.. Dinner at BK and stuff.. And we headed to the Esplanade next.. Sat down , chit chatted for awhile.. View by the bay was GORGEOUS!.. Ok, maybe it's partly because of the fact that I don't really go there very often but yea.. GORGEOUS!..

I must say that there's only so much that first impressions can make u think of what kind of a person he or she is.. Until u open ur mouth and make the effort to go up and talk to them.. It all changes.. U get to know the person better, what they're like, what they've gone through, how they're feeling and all.. Yea, I don't know.. I guess that's good.. I mean as in my case yesterday.. Yup yup.. And yea, Jud's a cool girl!.. Haha.. (: Very animated and stuff.. Crappy (Like I'm not like that) and funny.. And a great artist too.. ;) I really did have fun last night + LOADS OF LAUGHTER!.. And considering it's the last few days of "FREEDOM".. I mean, yea.. Another outing soon yea!.. LOL.. (:

Alright, I've been on like Facebook so much recently!.. Since the Life section published an article in the papers last Sunday.. So many more adds from friends.. I've even managed to find 2 of my primary school friends there!.. And man am I HAPPY to see them!.. Yup yup.. And there's so much more to do!.. Forget friendster, I'm upgrading!.. (:

So 6 days more.. And the count down goes on.. To NS that is.. Another 12 to my birthday though.. (: Wonder how it's gonna all go down though.. 9th being enlistment and 13th being Hari Raya.. Hopefully I'll be able to go out.. And I just though of the most outrageous present to get this year!.. Yeap, dream pressie for this year.. A SURFBOARD!.. So yea, I don't think anyone is gonna get that but like I said.. DREAM

Oh oh.. And I've been dreaming A LOT lately.. Almost every night and even just now in the afternoon!.. But the one I remembered the most was dreaming about my dad and I.. How'd he brought me back to our old house in Ubi.. That's where I grew up.. So many memories.. Reminded me of my dad and mum.. How'd they take care of me and my sis.. And my lil bro and the things he did.. Hee.. I don't know, everytime I pass by there.. I just wanna go back into that house.. See it all over again.. Every wall, every memory.. Tears flow sometimes thinking bout it.. Yea.. Ok, no going emo but yea.. Just a thought.. (:

Happy Children's Day to all!.. And October is already here!.. 9 more days peeps!.. Haha.. This is what I got as a reply for wishing Royce Happy Children's Day.. "LOL happy children's day.. I got 120 push ups and a 3km march with lots of stuff which needed to be carried.." Ok yea, he's having fun.. (:

Well, I had this dream last week.. It was the day of my enlistment and I was still packing my bags at 7am plus.. I had to reach camp by 8.30am.. Cuz that's my allocated time.. Talk about not getting ready.. I think I'm gonna get my stuff soon.. Anyone wanna follow?.. LOL.. Yea, oh oh.. And I had another dream.. I landed in some North Korean like country where once u got in u ain't going out.. Scary.. Guards everywhere and stuff.. Yup yup..
