How's the week been going for me u ask?.. Hmm.. Well, not that good actually.. Movie with Serene on Tuesday was cancelled.. And gym today with Royce.. Yeap, u guessed it.. Cancelled too.. ): Serene had school work to catch up on and Royce.. Well, he had a hang over.. And it sounded bad too.. Take care dude..

So that just leaves teachers' day tmr and SIM open house on Saturday.. Just hope my friends don't bail on me on these 2 occasions too.. Come on u guys!.. Haha..

Well, Serene was absolutely fuming mad yesterday.. First and ever time I saw her so pissed.. I hope it's the one and only time I'll ever see her pissed.. Anyways, yea.. Turns out it was SECURITY!!!.. Did u know that SIA crew were given "special" treatment by not having to queue and just walk by everyone else outta security checkpoints?.. Who came up with those rules?!.. Anyhow, she was pissed cuz security was making a BIG yadayada outta lil matter.. Security.. -.- They think they have all authority and ~~abuse~~ use it.. =P

So yea.. Complained throughout the bus ride home but at least that was something we agreed on.. Haha..

Last night was horrible!.. I had a running nose cuz I swept the floor in the morning..

(Sweeping the floor = Dust) + My sensitive nose = Leaky nose

Yea, and it got worst when I went to work.. I just stood there and Goo came like dripping out!.. Yea, EWWW-ness to the max.. I know.. And the medication I got from the pharmacy.. $10!.. And it worked for a while.. The worst part was 10 bucks bought me 10 tablets and just as I was about to pop one in my mouth, it dropped into the sink!.. That's a whole dollar gone!.. -.- But what can I do?.. Pick it up.. NO WAY!.. Germs and stuff.. Not when I'm already not feeling well.. And it's not that I'll pick it up either.. Sigh..

And before leaving for work with that nose of mine.. My com read.. "Fatal error on iPod".. Gosh, I hope that it isn't already dead.. Maybe it heard my previous post?..

Anyways, movie with Serene today.. Off.. She's got school work to catch up on and I don't blame her.. (: Another time then.. And thanks to Manda a.k.a my twin and Liqin for their msgs.. It made me feel a lil better.. (:

Ok, call me slow but I just finished watching The Da Vinci Code on HBO.. CONTROVERSY I tell u!.. I'm BOGGLED now!.. And and, I now find history so interesting!.. Haha.. History = cool!.. =D Oh oh,and yays to Ferrari!.. Turkish Gran Prix!.. 1st and 2nd position!.. In ur face McLaren!.. Lol..

Anyways, went out with Royce today.. Sim Lim Square and then to Bugis.. Bussed down to Sim Lim square first.. Went looking for discounted iPods.. And wouldn't u know.. They're all sold out!.. Like all!.. Around the whole of Singapore!.. No more 30gb iPods!.. Great, just great.. And MacBook Pros are also all sold out!.. Well, yayness for Macs yea!.. Bye bye PCs!.. So that's 2 more things to my wish list..

Went watch shopping at bugis later on.. Royce has this way cool Ellesse watch.. Hope I spelt that correctly.. Yea, and it costs a MERE $319.. But it looks great!.. Black and gun metal gray on an all metallic skin, black face and gold dials.. Gorgeous!.. Ok, plus one more thing to my wish list.. And so it grows.. Haha.. And we also headed to the arcade.. Outruned 2 games.. Was fun.. Lol.. Even when we crashed the car, we just laughed!.. So yea that's basically the day all wrapped up..

One more thing to think about.. Apparently, there was this half marathon going on today.. And.. One more person died.. So yea, food for thought.. Should I participate in the marathon on 2nd december?.. I want to cuz.. Well, part of it was due to bragging.. I told TOO many ppl that I was going for it.. Me and big mouth!.. So yea, reps on the line.. And why don't I want to?.. NS + Payment + News about deaths.. So yea.. It's not a total no but I want more time to think.. Yeap.. If all else fails, least all this training will serve one purpose.. 2.4km runs!.. I wanna try to be as good as my dads' friend.. External companies pay him to run for them at events!.. His timing?.. 6 - 7 mins for 2.4km.. DAMN!.. But anyhow, yea.. That's something I wanna achieve!.. (:

Ok, am I cursed with bad bus drivers or what?!.. I left for work early AGAIN and wouldn't u know, I boarded that slow bus again.. -.- OMG-ness.. It was agonising, the trip to work.. There were absolutely no cars in front of him, he was on the 2nd lane.. The one next to the fastest lane.. And I swear the bus was walking I tell u!.. Isn't that road hogging?.. Can someone like sue SBS for doing this!.. And the party piece came when he passed this sign.. 70km/h.. -.- Yea uncle, 70km/h not follow the turtles pace speed!.. Arghh..

And and.. I woke up with sore ankles today.. Yea, they hurt quite bad.. Was due to running yesterday.. Weather was blazing hot and I just decided to go for a run at the stadium.. 13 laps on and it was enough for me.. Took me about half an hour.. Considering that I have NOT ran for months, I think it was a good start.. To marathon training.. Haa, make that half marathon training.. That's a total of 5.2km excluding the 400m warm up lap.. And 1/4 of the 21km that I had to run on 2nd december.. Yup yup..

Well, that's it from me.. Haha.. More complains!.. =P

Alright, forget what I said in my last 2 or 3 posts.. I must not be thinking clearly.. I'm fine now.. Yea.. (:

Went out for a movie with Serene yesterday.. Went to watch Rush Hour 3!.. And it was HILARIOUS!.. Lol.. Jackie Chan and Kris Tucker seriously made a good pair!.. His expressions, it was like he wasn't even trying!.. Overall, there wasn't much of a storyline but the action sequences and funny bits in between made up for it.. Yup yup.. Ok, why am I reviewing this movie?.. Blog, not review Robby.. Haha..

Oh, met my mum and sis on the way.. And yea, I was with Serene.. Lol.. My mum looked shocked to see us!.. Haha.. Just amazed that Serene has been keeping in touch with her primary school friends.. I think I may wanna do that as well.. Go onto friendster and try to locate them and stuff.. It'll be fun I guess.. Not seeing each other for so long and hearing all kinds of stories they have to tell..

I think the movie did the trick yea.. Also, opening up to friends helped too.. Thanks so much to Manda, Oliver and Serene for their listening ear.. Much appreciated!.. (:

Ok, I'm feeling real depressed lately.. Just mixed I guess.. All this different feelings bottled up and not opening up.. Cuz I don't know who I can turn to right now.. Feel like crying sometimes.. Guess the tears help to ease the pain..

Maybe it's due to the events that happened over the last few days, the music I'm listening too.. Or maybe cuz I'm just like that?.. I dunno.. Songs help to ease the pain just a bit.. But I guess opening up is still the best way..

Hello!.. (:

Just got back from the BBQ we had for the last 2 days.. It was GREAT and thanks to all u guys that made it!.. (: Only one draw back though, I'm sick of BBQ food already!.. I want real food now!.. Hahaha..

So day 1, friday 17th of august, sec school friends and poly peeps and not forgetting my friends from work.. Lemme rephrase that, friend from work.. LOl.. =D

Was really great to see them all again, especially my sec school friends.. Although I'd wish more friends could have made it.. Yup yup.. Sec school friends were funny.. Guess it's good that somethings stay the way they are.. Royce, as funny as usual.. Xing, iron chef.. Even my mum was impressed!.. Lol.. And Ian too.. Fhami, one of my poly peeps was going in the same time, place and date as me!.. Ok, I,ve got like a buddy now.. Guess it's better than going in alone and all.. Yeap.. Sec school friends stayed on till late and we headed for the bowling alley..

Turns out that the bowling alley opened till 3am!.. So, if u can't sleep and have the urge to bowl, u know where to go!.. Lol.. But the lady at the counter was being such a bitch!.. Can't even close one eye for friends of the member.. It's this member card.. Only the person holding it could could get discounts.. Like WTH!.. =P

Anyways, bowled a few games with my sis and bro joining us.. Good game, nothing too fancy but I sucked.. Haven't played for quite sometime and our skills were like ugghhh.. Thongs showed up later at midnight.. Headed back to the chalet for games till 5am went they left.. Played soccer and that got everyone laughing!.. Xing and his Nigeria vs China match.. Lol.. There was this player named Qi Hong!.. That seriously did the trick man!.. Burst out into laughter after that and even more with ridiculous goals!.. Lol.. Overall, AWESOME night!.. (:

Day 2,saturday 18th august, my relatives and poly peeps from my clas came over.. Felt a lil weird this bubble, shield kinda vibe between my friends and my relatives.. Yea.. When I first saw them.. I was like.. GUYS?!.. Woah!.. All of them were in already.. Yea, lucky me right?.. Anyways yea, all short hair and stuff.. And they were all into the whole NS/ military kinda thingy already.. Lol.. They were like re-enacting everything they went through.. Guess mine will be totally different though.. Since tekong = basic military training and civil defence = basic rescue training..

But from the way it seems, they're having so much more fun and they said it's slack there.. So kinda wondering what's CD gonna be like.. Well, have some friends saying like.. It's better to go to CD since tekong is just running around with guns and stuff while CD is all about real life kinda situations.. Yea..

Okies, like I said.. I'm home now.. And with cracks on my big toes!.. ): To dry I guess and I have to walk all funny.. *ouchies.. Right, gotta apply lotion now.. I'll end here.. See ya.. (:

[Robby - Is so loving his new specs!]

Hello!.. (:

Yes yes, I've finally gotten them!.. My new specs!.. UBERLY AWESOMELY STUNNING SWEET NEW SPECS!.. Ok, enough with the bragging.. Hah.. Well, yesterday was the last haircut that I got before going into NS.. Tried out supercuts though, and they had student price.. 22 bucks yea, guess that's resonable.. Best part was I got it from a director stylist!.. WOOT!.. Oh oh, and I absolutely love head massages!.. I think I'm starting to get addicted to it!.. Lol.. (:

Met my cousin and aunt on the way to get my haircut.. Cousin's leaving for Canada on the 25th this month.. Back to studying in uni for her.. Did I mention that it was a schlorship?.. Yea, she's cool!..

Headed to semei next to collect my specs.. When I first wore them, everything was like clear again.. Don't know why though but this song jumped into my head.. You know the oldies song, the one with "I can see clearly now the rain is gone.." Yea, that one.. So random right?.. Haha.. Anyways, met my sis later on at bugis.. Bought comics before leaving for marina.. While paying up, saw this game called Munchkin.. Reminded me straight away of Manda!.. Haha.. She said it was a fun game to play.. Never really got to play it that time at minds.. Hopefully someday yea.. (:

My sis wanted to buy slippers and stuff.. Havaianas.. Anyways, on the way there, we played the how-well-do-you-know-me game.. And.. Sigh, I lost.. She knows more about me than I do about her.. Yea yea, I know whatcha thinking.. Bad brother right?.. =P
But still, lotsa love!.. (:

So anyhow, walked round marina square.. Window shopped for a while.. Saw so many things that I wanted to buy!.. Quiksilver boardshorts, Quiksilver wallets, Ripcurl bermudas.. She bought this bangle and an iHEARTboys necklace from Diva.. Which reminds me.. I still owe her a bdae present.. Now to mention my dad and my mum also!.. Ok, next pay cheque is going to be on presents!.. Lol..

Oh the train ride home, we were drained!.. Dead dead tired!.. Popped out!.. And I still had work in the evening.. Was fun though.. Going with her and stuff!.. (:

Bus ride to work.. Saw the ad of this show I was dying to see!.. And it's out next week, 23rd of august!.. DEAD SILENCE! It's a twisted pictures production.. The same people that brought u SAW!.. Yes yes, been waiting since the beginning of this year for it to come out!.. Another must watch show!.. Four movies in total I wanna catch.. Rush hour 3, Ratatouille, Dead Silence and Evan Almighty!.. Hopefully my wallet still holds together after that.. Haha..

Woke up this morning and.. *Ouchies!.. My abs still hurt.. =/
And what's worst, so does my thighs now!..
Tried doing a new workout routine for my abs on sunday..
One of the exercises was called a reverse crunch..
I must have done something wrong cuz not only were my abs hurting, so were my thighs the next morning..
And I think I maybe, just maybe made it worst by going to the stadium to do another workout yesterday.. =X
So yea, whole body aches now.. Aww well, serves me right, right?.. LOL..

Bus ride to work yesterday was.. HORRIBLY LONG!!!..
I made it a point to get outta house early so that I would reach there early..
I mean, that's the whole point of being early right?..
Turns out that the bus and the bus driver had other ideas..
I swear to u.. 2 things were happening..
Either the bus was dying or.. The person driving the bus was..
I mean like in my mind I was like.. "Oh for goodness sake!.. Could u speed it up a lil!.. Just a lil?.."..

Anyways, got there in time and met Nicole and Amrita..
Went to draw money next and queued at the ATM..
When it was my turn, this female SECURITY OFFICER walked up to the machine..
No no.. Lemme rephrase that.. Walked passed, stared at me and went ahead of me.. -.-
???.. Security officers.. Just because they have authority, they abuse.. Opps, I mean use it..
So, being the good man that I am.. I allowed her to go ahead..
And she took like so DAMN long!.. Arghh.. If u wanna cut the queue, at least do ur business fast or something..

Hello!.. (:

I have a PIMPLE OUTBREAK!.. I'm not sure why I'm telling the whole world about it but yea, I do.. And it's hurting like crazy!.. I've got one above my lip, one on the top of my right eye and the other at the side of my left eye.. Kinda makes me feel like I've got a bermuda triangle on my face!.. Lol.. They're HUGE!.. And not to mention painful!.. *Ouchies.. Please go away or become smaller or something..

Anyways, about my post yesterday.. The marathon thingy.. I went to check out their webbie and guess what.. It read, 21km early bird special.. $45.. $45?! to run a race?!.. Ok, the goodie bags may have contributed to the more than steep price but still.. It's way too expensive I guess.. But Manda said it was around there so yea.. If I'm not participating in the marathon, the only other reason I'll still train for is of course for NS.. 2.4km run.. Which my best timing I have to say is 10:14.. Considering I'd never hit under 12mins during my secondary school days.. I think it's pretty good.. Yeap.. But my dream is to hit below 6mins!.. (:

Well, specs coming this wednesday.. I hope.. Well, that's what the guy said anyways.. And I can't wait!.. So yea.. I think I'll end here.. My mouse is dying as I'm typing this.. Time to get a new one!.. Haa.. Alright..

Back to work yesterday and it was nice to be back.. After 2 long days of break.. Well deserved I might add.. ;) And in-conjunction with national day, there was those push cart thingys that u see at the shopping malls.. Yea, apparently they were giving away free KACANG PUTIH kinda snacks!.. OMGness!.. FREE!.. And then reality settled in.. It read.. "Not for airport staff".. -.-

Anyways, yea..
Good Rest + Friendly Passengers = Great Working Environment!

Woke up today hoping to get a YES answer from my dad.. And his answer..
YES!!! Woot!.. NEW SPECS!.. OAKLEYS!.. Came back from the shop a while back and the the specs costed?..$550!!! Yes, ok.. That's a lot to swallow for a pair of frames.. But hey, their Oakleys!.. And NO I didn't buy them for the brand.. Ok, maybe a lil.. But I mean, I bought them cuz they're reliable..

Oakley = Reliable brand.. =D

One of the shops that I went to said that 2 of their customers came back to him after their specs had been ran over by a truck!.. They went back and with a lil bending here and there.. They were as good as new!.. Talk about tough!..

Oliver said that I'm high maintenance.. And the worst part is that my family agrees!.. Well, it's not so much about buying brands and stuff.. But I buy them cuz they're reliable, comfortable and stuff.. OK, the brand thingy might have something to do with it but.. That's besides the point.. U buy something that u can rely on, something that's comfortable.. Brands are there cuz ppl buy them and wear them!.. I trust my eyes with Oakleys, Jeans with Levi's and feet with Nike.. So if that makes me high maintenance then so be it.. I'm comfortable with I put on.. (:

Anyways, Manda finally lemme in on her blog!.. That's so totally nice of her.. Thanks twin!.. (: And I also read Ling's blog too.. Seems like both of them are talking bout the marathon at the end of the year.. The Standard Charted Singapore Marathon.. And I've been wanting to participate ever since last year.. Just checked out the main page and the race is on the 2nd of December.. Only one problem.. NS!.. Arghh!.. No matter, I think I'll still train up for it and participate in at least the half marathon.. That's 21km!.. (:

Went to a friend of a friends bqq last night..
All Royce's idea.. I seriously felt so alienated!.. -.-
Well, he said that it was actually gonna be a meet up btw his gf and her friend..
It was gonna be a national day countdown thingy at some pub..

But plans changed when his gf said that her friend DISAPPEARED!.. Ooo..
Yea, so it changed to a bbq meet up for another friend..
It was held at bedok.. I don't exactly know where the place is..
But it was a condo.. That I remember.. Lol..

He was supposedly gonna intro me to some girl..
Well, he made it seem that I was like despo.. -.-
Thanks dude.. Yea, well her name's Li Qin..
And she's 16 this year.. Kinda young?.. I guess?.. Yea..

So anyhow, I found it quite awkward.. I guess from my POV I found it that way..
I mean, I don't mean to bad mouthing anyone but.. I guess it was a vibe thingy..
Yea, a lil anti-social and not exactly on the same frequency..
Coz there was a whole group of them.. Childhood friends and stuff..
And I was like a friend of a friend..
Did manage to talk to her though.. Pretty nice girl.. (:
Well, the thing that was cool was that she had the same b'dae as my bro!..
Last day of the last month of the year!.. That's right, 31st December!..

There was one moment when me and Royce came back from dinner..
And she went to open the side gate of the condo..
Apparently she was drunk.. Yes, they popped open the wine and vodka when we were gone.. Haha..
Anyways, so we were just talking and stuff.. And then her sis came in and liked..
"Are you trying to chat up my sis!?"..
And she goes all defensive and protective and aggresive and all..
In my mind I was like.. Chill man.. We were just talking..
OK, I understand the whole protective over sis thing but I thought she was over doing it..

The night ended with the whole group of us playing ddr at Li Qin's house..
That's Dance Dance Revolution for u ppl that don't know..
Ok, I'm guilty too.. I didn't know that till yesterday..
Then again, I wouldhave never imagined myself playing it..
Gave it a try and I'm telling u that game's for kids!.. =P
Also learnt how to play mahjong!.. Lol..
Li Qin helped me a lot!.. Nice of her to take the time and explain the chinese characters to me.. (:
I can't read chinese!.. Must go read up or study or something.. Haha..

NDP was GREAT!.. The backdrop STUNNING!..
Not that I was there or anything.. But yea.. WAY COOL!..

Hello!.. (:

Just came back from work and eating my mum's home made fruit tarts..
DELICIOUS!.. Yum yum..
Whole family chipped in to help out with the tarts yesterday..
And they most certainly turned out GREAT!..

So anyways, I met this girl.. Ok, not met more like asked if the bus had gone..
That was last week.. Last friday, I saw her again..
Coming out from the security clearance..
And I was just gonna ask for her name when she said..
"You're Robby aren't you?"..

My mind = Cold sweat and OMG!..
How'd she know me and all..
Apparently when I got to know more..
Turns out that she was a primary school mate of mine..
A prefect that was taking care of my class.. Lol..
She said she could recognise me coz my face hasn't changed much.. -.-

I mean I'm thankful and all the ppl still recognise me but..
I wanna look matured and this isn't a good start.. Haha..
Yea, ppl do tell me that I'm younger than I look but still..
U get the picture.. Btw, her name's Serene..

Well, I saw her again today and she was with her friend..
Also from the same class.. Also a prefect.. Also sorta know me..
Her name's Christine.. Yeap..
It's seriously how cool when this kinda things happen..
I mean meeting a person that u have never seen before for after like almost a decade!..

Ok so I'm guessing I do have friends everywhere now..
Just popping up here and there..
Oh not forgetting, I asked Christine where will she be dropping..
Turns out, it was at the same stop as me!..
Ok then when we got down, we were just asking each other where we stayed..
Turns out when I pointed at my block, she said that she lived in the opposite block!..
OMG-ness!.. That was seriously shocking!..
And all this time we haven't even met!.. Small world?.. NO WAY!.. Lol..

So yea, I thought that was a very interesting day..

Hello!..

Another week has passed and another week closer to my enlistment..
Strange it seems how fast time flies and we're already in august..
Guess the saying that life is short is so true!..

Just looking back at all the things that happened in the past week..
Here's a lil stuff, those lil things that happened..

On friday, while walking to the bus stop to take the bus to work..
I saw this cat lying on the floor.. On its back and legs up in the air..
And I just walked by it.. Then stopped.. Looked back and walked on again..
Then stopped again.. Looked back.. Wondered..
Took a few steps back.. Looked closely..
Wanted to see if it was breathing..
Coz if it wasn't, it wouldn't be sleeping that it was doing..
Yea, it would be a dead cat!..
Tapped it a lil with my foot.. And..
It woke up!.. Lol.. Stretched and looked at me!..
And just laid there..
To me, it was phew.. Thank goodness!.. To the cat, I think it was..
WHY DID U WAKE ME UP?!.. Haha..
Ok, all this happened coz I have never seen a sleeping cat in my life!..

Towards the end of the week, for 3 consecutive days..
I've been getting calls from weird ppl..
All saying they wanted to talk to this guy called benjamin!..
I'm like so pissed every time coz they are so RUDE!..
I can't stand rude ppl!.. OMG!.. Like talk nicely can..
Ur calling me after all.. Arghh.. One more time and they'll get it I tell u!..
And my dad was so mean to prank call me after I told him the story..
Rest of the family just started laughing..
I'm so naive!.. -.-

And I've been having bad dreams lately..
The worst one being dreaming my dad passed away..
And I dreamt that TWICE in 2 weeks..
It makes me cry at night after dreaming bout that..
Ok, not exactly cry but just feel like it and feel sad..
A friend of mine told me maybe it's coz I haven't been spending much time with him..
Working every single night and not being able to see him..
Guess it's true.. But I'm having off days on weekends so that's gonna help a lot!.. (:

Yeap, and just got back for my cousins place..
Had a buffet dinner there!.. Met up with relatives and stuff..
Yeap, and one of my cousin.. Janet - Volleyball player..
She said she wouldn't mind playing during her september school holidays!..
Finally, someone to play volleyball with!.. (:

Hello!..

Well, back to work yesterday..
Had 2 new peeps joining us and I hadda be sorta supervisor for a day!..
Lol.. Was fun teaching them.. But the funny thingy was..
And I do mean FUNNY..

Everyone there was in suh a good mood yesterday!..
I mean seriously.. Sales staff were extremely friendly!.. Which was kinda rare.. =X
Cashiers were also super nice and most of all..
The passengers were so so so FRIENDLY!..

Not sure why.. Maybe coz it's end of the month and everyone..
And I do mean everyone!.. Including the passengers must have gotten their pay or something.. Yeap..
